I had a face and neck lift, an endoscopic forehead lift, and an eyelid graft performed by Dr. Youn on November 18. From start to finish, the entire experience has been outstanding. The clinic and staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate, making me feel completely supported throughout the process. Amy, Dr. Youn’s assistant, was a true gem—she provided detailed daily instructions both before and after the surgery, which made everything so much easier to manage.
The day of the surgery went perfectly. I remember waking up in the recovery room feeling well cared for, and since then, the post-op process has been progressing smoothly. I’ve already had my drains and bandages removed and received a red light treatment to help reduce swelling, which felt great.
Recovery so far has been manageable. While there’s been some discomfort and pain, the prescribed pain meds have worked well to keep it under control. By day 3, I’m already feeling much better! There’s still noticeable swelling, and I’m sticking to sipping liquid foods since I can’t fully open my mouth yet—but the exciting part is that I don’t have much bruising at all. Most of my face is still numb, which I expected, and I know it’s all part of the healing process.
