Hospitalization - None / Pre Medical Check-up - Depending on health conditions / Operation Time - 30 mins~1 hour / Anesthetic Method - IV Sedation / Stitch Removal - Required / Required Length of Stay - At least 7 days post-op / Treatment Process - Required, What is the difference between a double eyelids surgery and blepharoplasty? - A normal double eyelid surgery does not include removing of loose and redundant skin, but making lines above the eyelids.On the other hand, blepharoplasty includes cutting off the redundant skin and reforming the eyelids. / Is “ptosis” a must? - Half the people who go for an upper blepharoplasty tend to use the forehead muscle to open their eyes, which leads to forehead wrinkles as well. Ptosis will help restore the power to open your eyes without having to use the forehead muscle, so if needed, ptosis is a must. / Should I be awake during the upper blepharoplasty? - Since local anesthesia comes with little pain, we put you under IV sedation prior to local anesthesia. So when checking the symmetry and the design, we would require you to open your eyes but you will be in a painless state. During this part, you will be half awake. / How can I get rid of the puffy under-eye? - Depending on whether the puffiness is due to fats only or fats + loose skin, under eye fat repositioning or lower blepharoplasty will be recommended. / What is the incision like for the upper or lower blepharoplasty? - Incision for the upper blepharoplasty is the same as what’s commonly known as double eyelid surgery, and incision for lower blepharoplasty is right in front of the under eyelash, so even right after the recovery process, it will not be very noticeable. / Will a blepharoplasty change the shape of my eyes? - Since there will be removing of the unnecessary fats and redundant skin, it will give you a much improved appearance overall.
